Sania Back from Injury Time

Sania Mirza was back on a tennis court on Monday evening, after a gap of 7 weeks due to an injury. She is essentially targeting a return by May first week's German Open or at the most the Morocco Open from May 14,according to her father Imran Mirza.

According to Mr. Mirza, Sania would initially have light training session for the next four to five days, following the physical conditioning schedule prepared by her South African trainer Heath Mathew.

Sania had light half-an-hour training session on Monday when she served a bit and took most of the feeding. At the end of it she felt comfortable, though there was slight pain. The progress would be assessed over the next four to five days before deciding whether she can stretch herself fully on the court.
