Sania 45th in WTA Ranking

Sania Mirza moved one place up to 45th in the latest WTA rankings after she was upset in the quarter final of just concluded Bangalore Open tournament.

The 20-year-old had lost to unseeded Russian Yaroslava Shvedova in the prize money $175,000 Tier III event.

Sania, who played alongside Italy's Mara Santangelo and made quarterfinal exit in the doubles event also, went down two places to be 28th in the doubles rankings.
